I dont know where to start really! but i need help and would be eternally greatfull of anything right now.
My beautifull mother has had a terrible life but remained throughout her life,a kind,warm,scincere and genuine,special lady,who i'm so proud of.She was left at a convent in ireland age 3,and stayed there untill she was 15,where she suffered hunger,abuse,cruelty and sexual abuse.There's so many storys in my head from what she told me over the years;like the only time they got excited was at xmas time,because they were asked to perform on stage-doing irish dancing and singin e.c.t.This was for the towns people,to make it look good,like they were cared for!..and then there is the other storys that hurt my heart so much,like when they would scrub concrete floors in there knickers and vests,and they were that hungry they ate pigs drippings left over from "the nuns"!..or berrys from the trees' on their long walks they were made to go on.
Another time that sticks out in my mind was how my mum,age 8 was made to sit up all night to watch over a nunn who was dying-from old age,and how she would be hit over the head,beaten,because she would fall asleep sometimes throughout the night.
Eventually,at the age of 15,she was told to leave the convent,to go and look after a doctors familly.This was husband and wife and two young children!..my mum had never been out of the convent(appart from the town) and she was made to go to dublin on a train to meet this familly and take care of these kids,when she was just a kid herself! she was used basically as a slave! and the onlhy day off she got was sunday,when she had to go to church with this familly!..no love in her life,so alone.
Eventually my aunt found my mother and brought her to england thank god.
but she had a miserable life full of loss and pain-like so many others i know but i am here asking to help because i cant. 3 yrs ago my dad passed away and he was in intensive care for 6 mths,my mum got into debt and now she is strugling.She lives in a council house,a council house that she has been offered to buy at a very cheap price and i would love to find a way to raise that money to buy it for her,as that was my dads dream before he died. My dad was disabled all his life after a car accident which left him in a coma-my mum took care of him all his life,as she did us.
please,if there is anybody out there that could or would help us with her debts and any ideas of how to get the house for her i'd be eternally greatfull!..in fact,i would sky dive of the highest point in the world!-run naked accross the desert!lol..anything,to do something for her!..please help,i feel so useless and frustrated because i cant do anything.
